PharmacyBibinje is a nice village with its own little harbour. It is 7 km from Zadar.
The village was founded in the Roman period. In the Middle Ages the place was known as Bibianum. The present-day village was founded in 1468 by the inhabitants of the nearby village Petrina.
The climate of this region is typicaly Meditterranean. Village is protected by the hills in the hinterland from the blasts of cold northern winds, particulary the bora, and by the islands from the southeastern and southern winds. The Zadar channel is opened in the summer months to the direct influence of fresh northwesterly maestral, so the microclimate is markedly mild. The yearly average temperature is 14,9° it is 23,9° in July.
